Are you looking to boost your digital innovation project in the energy sector in Africa? Are you involved in energy transition projects in this region? The Digital Energy Challenge is for you. The 2023 call for projects supports the development of digital innovative solutions for wider energy access through mini-grids, the integration of renewable energy and utility performance improvement in Africa.
The 2023 Call for Projects is open until 15th May 2023 and targets projects based in Africa, led by:
- Start-ups in the pre-seed phase or with early-stage activities. NGOs can apply under the Start-up category under certain conditions.
- Public power utilities (public Independent System Operators, private companies under a public service concession, power pools, regional organisations, energy regulators and rural electrification authorities) in partnership with innovative technology/service providers.
All webinars will last approximately 1.5 hours, with a moment dedicated to a Q&A session, for all participants to obtain appropriate information to build quality applications.
